sister, Jim and Betty--God continues to give me some grace, as my dept's "leader" this week. right now, I am the Nancy Pelosi of my Dept--third in line to the throne, but on the throne for two weeks. I'm just blessed with a lot more fiscal sense than she is....... sorry, could NOT resist. Bad girl.

In 3 months, I will be Joe Biden. Not gonna touch that one.

More problems today, and I helped broker a solution this morning.

I had some more good thoughts at 6 30 pm when another crisis hit.......

I am trying to stick up for someone who's alienating all my colleagues--I see a sweet woman, who is gruff at times, but others don't see the sweet, so I'm trying to be a peacemaker....

God is helping me, even when I just wanna go home and ice my knee........I'm on the beeper all weekend, and selfishly I'm praying i can at least get in a nap Saturday......

Thanks be to God, the back is much better since yesterday afternoon.!!!!!!!!!! My knee hurts, so Barely Weaned is having me cut back on some PT---yeah, more free time! Apparently i have a whopping case of patellar tendinitis....unfortunately it means I'm regressing from the progress I had made with my knee.

I so appreciate prayer for my back. i can work with a sore knee, but pain from my back to my foot is a lot more distressing. So thank you. It makes a difference. And I am humbled by your care.

LOL You are so funny and sweet sister hahahahaha...I know you are going through a real endurance test with pain the newborn PT and all, and the challenges of work, but how very valuable you are sister not only at work for the lady who really needs you, but to all of us here...You inspire and encourage, and are really what I call a "Shot in the ARM," something we ALL need at different times in our lives.

I appreciate you and pray DAILY for you knowing God WILL answer soon and is moving mightily for you, simply because HE loves you and we are praying together in agreement here for you.

God Bless you, and keep up the good work, you are a wonderful example of Gods Love and Humor!

Love you

Oh2, would I sound very intensive to say that your pain brings me much pleasure? Oh that sounds awful doesn't it??!! Just trying to say thankful for that wonderful sense of humor God has given you and praying you never lose it!
Sarju, do these PT's live in the real world??? :) The answer to that question is, unfortunately, "no" I fear too many of our medical providers read books and spew out answers that have nothing to do with the individuals they are treating.

Lord I pray that you will grow this "barely weaned" P.T. up quickly. I pray he/she is able to let go of all the book learning and take the talents you provided him with and begin to listen to his patients, starting with OH2. I pray the treatments will began to help and "do no harm". I ask that you take the pain from her back, please Father. I thank you for the heart she has for others and pray that the others will listen to her about this woman. Thank you Father.

Thank you, Friends. What a week. There were 2.5 of us doing work that takes a minimum of 4. Terrible long days, and got called in yesterday for 1/2 a day.

Despite this, the back pain held off until the afternoons and the knee is worse than the back, which I guess is the way it should be. Still very swollen and sore, and I have no idea if this is normal at 3 months out. Didn't go to church cuz the back is fussing today too when I sit. Tried to nap but couldn't--too tense.

But I told the Father today if the back doesn't get any worse than this, I can live with it. But i do fear that my knee is .........well, that something's wrong. I hurt worse than before the surgery. Maybe it's just that I"m advancing in my PT. My Barely Weaned PT doesn't know why I hurt so much. Why I'm so stiff. The joint itself seems very stable. Every time I wanted to call my doc this week, something at work intervened.

I just beg the Father that I will not need a redo of the surgery and that it would be successful.

Thank you all so much for your faithfulness. I thank my God for all of you. :)

AMEN from Prayer Warrior for these prayers. Sorry my computer doesn't seem to know where to go here. Honestly!

Lord, I lift up our sister! She is working super-time, doing the work of more than one person.

Bless her mentally and physically, and in her spirit. Bring her complete peace, and I thank You.

Thank you, Nan, Sister and Jim--PRAISE GOD. It is not the joint. I t is "pes ansernine" bursitis, due to overuse and going too hard with my rehab. Today I could barely walk, with pain much worse than prior to surgery. It hits us older overweight gals with knee trauma or arthritis, especially. But it is very painful, as I can attest.

I will need a steroid shot on Friday, and I pray it won't hurt too much, cuz I'm a weenie. (I'm waiting only cuz I don't sleep for 24 hours after these). But Lord willing, that will do the trick, and if not, another shot. No PT for 2 weeks. Lotsa ice and NSAIDs. Glad I have a vacation coming up next week.

thank you all for your prayers ---I know our Lord hears. May he bless all of you. :)

Father God, please be merciful and make provision for whatever oh2binva needs to be able to see permanent improvement in her knee and back. You know how every part of her body is knit together, and I trust that You will unfold her healing according to Your Perfect Will. Give her good sleep, deep rest, and strength for the days ahead. Protect her from all harm and keep her in Your loving care. Thank You that You have brought her this far and thank You for hearing and answering our prayers.

I am praying in Jesus' Mighty name,
Amen.

That is funny, O B-won, I never thought of you as a weenie. hee hee hee

I am seriously praying for you but had to kid you. Stay off that ol' knee, keep a towel between you and the ice so you don't hurt your skin, and I pray the bit of extra rest will help greatly!

Lord, I ask that You show our dear sis how to baby her knee, for when we want to improve some of us, me included, push ourselves even harder than we should. Please lay Your grace and touch upon her and bring healing and restoration to her 100%.

Thank you Lord.

love
nan

Dear Lord Jesus Who cares for those who are in pain, who are having valley experiences and enduring more than they think possible, but You are the Enabler and we are so grateful to know that oh2binva who has endured much but can still rejoice with thanksgiving for those graces that You have given her. What a blessing this valley-dweller has been to me and others. We plead with You kind and loving Father that You will give her a complete healing and remove the massive pain that she is still experiencing. Help her at her job where stress must be at Max. May You help her to endure this time in her life and may she know that You are caring for her. We pray for all of those who are considered chronic pain-ridden believers who need to know that You will be there and help them to get relief and rest from medication and from Your healing Hands. In the name of Jesus AMEN

Lord I pray OH1's knee will not get any worse. I pray there will be no more damage caused from p.t. and that when these signs of overwork appear the P.T. will be quick to recognize them and ease up. Lord I thank you so for this dear sister who encourages us all so much and pray that her healing will go forward from now on. I pray also you remove the pain from her back. I pray the situation at her work will be better. There will be more help or less work. Thank you Father.
