Betty, nan and Sister---thank you sweet ladies!

Well, I'm whooped. 2 days down. But...praise God the pain is MANAGEABLE!!!!!!!! not gone, but SO MUCH BETTER THAN IT HAD BEEN. Thank you Jesus--your timing is perfect.

And I know it's because of your prayers. I know it. And a colleague needed to switch call, so I have a week to ease back in. Was Able to leave at 430 today and avoid rush hour and come home and do PT, even tho' it was hard to put one foot in front of the other.

BUT IT IS SOOOOO GOOD TO HAVE MY KNEE HURT WORSE THAN MY BACK. WooHoo!

And Nan, I have a big round HEPA filter in my office, and that is what I'm using, with a pillow on top. so it elevates my foot yet fits under my desk, and I can still fit my foot platform with my Dictaphone under too! (Too short to reach the floor with my feet when I'm up high enough to see in the scope). Believe it or not, it's hard to find a spare trash can in a hospital!

And I haven't taken a narcotic in over a week. :) GOD IS SO GOOD.

Dave, jim, Betty, sister, marstacy, sarju and Felicia---Thank you, dear ones.

one week down. What a week. My PT did something to me today, or I did it under his guidance, can't figure out what, that brought the back/leg/foot pain back. I pray this is a temporary blip in my progress. Other than today, it has been pretty good, and I have your prayers and the God who hears to thank.

If you would continue to pray that this lousy back pain would subside, I'd be grateful. I think this is just a blip. And I'm acting chairman of the dept for the next two weeks--oh my.

The knee is coming along, but the wound keeps breaking down and won't heal--it's beginning to make a huge! scar, but other than the fact it hinders my bending, this too shall pass. I whomped it really good on a table at work, which is causing it to open back up. And I've whomped it a lot in the past weeks, and my PT asked if I've always been like this ( a clutz)--yessiree, I have been and still am. :)

But I survived! Other than being whooped more than usual, the brain seems to work, and the efficiency is nearly back. God is good!

YES, GOD IS GOOD! May he bless all of you with your hearts' desires and deepest needs. And keep you safe. Have a blessed weekend.

Give her strength and comfort, Lord, and please make it so there are no setbacks in her progress. Protect her and hold her close to Your Loving Heart. I am praying in Jesus' Most Precious name, Amen.

((((OH2))))) Father I know those of us who are born "clutzs" have a difficult time healing sometimes. Lord I ask that you help OH2 slow down and give herself time to heal from this surgery. I pray she will not overdo and cause more pain as she heals. Please ease this back pain for her and keep her from further injuring her knee. I ask for complete healing. I ask for the extra strength she will need during this next two weeks.

Thank you all so much. The pain is better today, but still fussing. Am dreading work, yet it's my duty to go. Have a lot of blackness in my heart this weekend, and have no clue why. I know I'm tired and whooped and a tad bummed that the back is fussing, but this blackness and crabbiness are unwarranted.

I pray our Father breaks thru it, and reminds me that I am so blessed, and I am to rejoice in each day he has made. For he is good. And his love and promises are greater than any blackness Satan brings on!

So Satan, get lost.

Seated With God you are sister sometimes we forget that all of us do so when we are seated with God and chosen by Him to bring VICTORY into all our situations, then we are healed and then He is glorified. I was just reminded of that very thing tonight myself, where I am supposed to be seated and whose I belong to!!!!!

So it is I pray the anointing and blessings upon YOU now in the Mighty name of Jesus sister...I pray God rain down blessings and healing upon you and replace the dark with HIS light and HIS love for you right now.....receive it for it is placed ever so lovingly and gently with your heart tonight!!!!

thank you, Jim and sister. You are praying and He is answering. The back is fussing, and my leg is quite swollen and sore, but the pain is less. Less, and I am so grateful. The work week is easing a bit, and I am grateful for help I got from my colleagues that helped me catch up. I am grateful I got out after an 8 hour day today. My two big meetings are done, and hopefully I can just WORK the rest of the week.

I am His, and I must remember that he will fight my battles for me. He will give me the strength to go on, even when I don't want to. He is faithful. Thank you, Father.

Ah, dear friends and fellow saints: Right now I am virtually pain free, after a rough morning. there is no rhyme or reason to it. But I am grateful to God when I feel this way!

My Barely Weaned PT said yesterday that my back is all torsed (twisted) again, probably as a pain response. he did his twistybendypully thing and I actually hurt worse, but maybe now the CURE IS SETTING IN??!!!! hE told me to quit elevating my foot, and just get up and walk every 15 min or so.

Sarju, do these PT's live in the real world??? :)

God is SO VERY GOOD. A problem came up at work today. Big one. God gave me the answers. At one point, something came out of my mouth that I can't believe I said, it was very wise. God had to have put it there. Cuz it was a completely new and novel thought., something I'd never "thunk" before.

so I thought that was way too neat for words. :)

Thank you all so for your faithfulness. Your kindness. Wow. I was despairing earlier that I might need to see a specialist, but I can hang in there a bit longer.

Thanks to him--- and to you all. and that's way too neat for words.
