(((OH2)))) I am praying special for all your needs to be met to overflowing. We learn to adjust to what life brings, sometimes or should I say often times we do not understand the WHY of things, BUT ultimately we do know God works it all for our good. For me, it is a major adjustment to go from working 40 hrs a week and doing ministry as well, to being at home a majority of the time, and my mobility being cut way back. A BIG adjustment...So, do know God sees and hears, and HE will work everything together for our good. I also believe He will heal us as well. He has a perfect time for everything...I find waiting to be one of my most major challenges ... I am praying for you and knowing God will perform MIRACLES in YOUR life in ways you thought not imaginable sweet sister...Get ready to RECEIVE!!! In The Mighty name of Jesus!!!! Love you Love in Christ Sistercharity/Joyce

Thank you sister, betty and sarju--today continued to be better. had a different PT just for today--this one's Slightly More Than Barely Weaned, and he encouraged me--while the knee strengthening needs to be put on hold, it can be resumed once the back stabilizes. So all is not lost. This can be made up, so to speak. I PRAISE GOD FOR HIS CARE. I made appts thru August, it'll come out of my own pocket, but that's ok. They do have hours that can be compatible with my job. The pain is/remains less than 5 weeks ago, and I PRAISE HIM FOR THAT. It is becoming manageable and tolerable. And I know your prayers have brought that about. God HAS brought good from this--my faith is stronger, I've had lots of time in his word, and I've encountered the best of God's saints on this forum. Father, i pray for blessings for all of these people who pray for me, a complete stranger. I ask that you meet them all at their places of need, and give them peace, hope and an unspeakable joy. Ease any of their pains, relieve any discouragement, restore any fading hope, guard against fear. You've blessed me through them--please bless them in return. Thank you.

Heavenly Father, it is a blessing to my heart to read the post of Oh2 tonight. Your mercy and goodness abounds, Lord. I thank You for the promise of all things working for the good. Inspite of her struggle with pain, she sees that the testing of her faith has brought her into a closer relationship with You. Her pain is not without purpose. May she continue to desire Your perfect will in her life. In Jesus name, I pray for this sister tonight. Lord, thank You for being her hope and her healer. Amen

Thank you, Jim, Sister and IWSH. TOUGH DAY TODAY AND YESTERDAY, oops not yelling, with more pain. could have been the water exercises or the PT Friday, i don't know. Just feeling very discouraged and drained. And God forgive me, angry. i waited 30 years to be relieved of this chronic and at times acute knee pain, and I fear that it is being replaced by something worse. So I'm blue. Please pray if it be his will to lift this from me, mostly so I can work, cuz we need my income. I have to take call the week i get back and will be afraid to take anything stronger than Ibuprofen--I'm on call for a straight week. Don't know if I can do that. I pray that if i do need to take narcotics, that the hospital will not need me to come in at night. Sorry my friends, I'm having a poopy day and a more poopy attitude. I must keep my eyes on him, the perfector of my faith. hurry, Father and perfect. Cuz I'm falling down.

((((((OH2))))) Sister, I had a lesson today when I felt POOPY like you put it honey...I felt fear, I felt broken inside and so a sister in the Lord who lives in Texas, and I prayed together on the phone, she also reminded me, that Jesus is the only perfect one,, so not to worry when I am NOT faithful enough, or understanding enough or love enough....God understands that about me. He does not require perfection from us, and understands when we do not understand. He knows we get angry and even that's OK. We are all in the process, as I mentioned, so what I was prayed for and about today with my friend from Texas, I am sharing with you as I also pray for you to be healed and pain free in the MIGHTY name of Jesus..I pray also He reveals Himself to you in a concrete way and shares His love with you in such a way, you would feel so complete and secure. I ask this all in the Mighty name of Jesus...amen and amen Love you sis Love in Christ Sisterchaity/Joyce quote:

Father, We love you. Thank you for understanding us better than we understand ourselves. Please give oh2binva the secure, complete feeling that Joyce mentioned. We ask that you bless her with continual improvement and with your calm, cool, confident composed, settled serenity. We worship you, praise you and pray to you for oh2binva in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. (NKJ)Luke 21:19 By your patience possess your souls.

Thank you betty, Sister and Jim--thank you all so for your kindness and prayers. I appreciate y'all sharing that God doesn't expect me to be perfect. That's true. I guess I /we expect that of ourselves. And we all know only Jesus was /is perfect. And He intercedes for us and gives us the appropriate words to pray when we feel poopy. And he understands discouragement and sadness, as He himself felt those while here on earth. I DID have a better day today--my back is less crooked and I did traction before work and upped my medicine. Despite 4 hours of sleep, i did almost a full day's worth of work, just not my usual excessive amount. My colleagues are struggling. I need to go back. I pray that we all continue to feel his presence, his assurance and his love, especially when we feel empty. Thank you so for your prayers--I did better today than last week with my sitting.

Thank You, Lord for a better day today for Oh2. Even the tiniest of progress, we are grateful and give You the honor and praise. As someone who lives with chronic pain, my heart can sympathize with this sister. It is tough day in and day out to stay encouraged. And, most assuredly impossible when we try to do it ourselves. I pray that her and I both seek You diligently with all our hearts, all our souls. Trusting and believing that our pain is not without purpose. May we both allow You to complete the work You are doing in our lives. I know that our Hope is in You so I pray that we hold on, press forward and keep our eyes on You and Your kingdom. In Jesus' name, I ask these things. Amen

Have you tried those? do you have cluster headaches? (rather than migraines--I wonder) I CLAIM (am I allowed to do that?) both of your prayers for myself. I REJOICE that sister's pain was less today. I THANK Jesus our Lord that he hears, he intercedes and he can heal. i ask for healing for all of us on this forum who have chronic pain/hurt, whether mental or physical. We must all keep our eyes directed upward. Why is that so hard sometimes? Father, i thank you for these wise sisters. These pillars of Faith and Love. i ask that you bless them, heal their hurts, headaches, pains and days of darkness of the soul and discouragement. I just thank you for them. I thank you too that my pain is less today.

In the name of Jesus we are trusting You to heal her and give her a complete recovery. Amen Thank you, dear sister. I DO think the PT is kicking in, and I have doubled my nerve pain medication(neurontin, not narcotic). I worked a 10.5 hour day yesterday ( so much for easing back in part time), with a 45 min commute at either end. I hurt, my foot throbbed, but it was not PRAISE HIM! unbearable. I also got the name of a spine doctor from one of my colleagues who had the epidural shots that eliminated his pain. At this time, i choose to wait on the Lord and try to be conservative, but once back at work FT, I may need to go the more aggressive route in order to save my job. Father, I thank you that the pain is not unbearable. I thank you for those who lift me in prayer. I thank you that the pain is better, much better, than 7 weeks ago. I continue to ask for your mercy, that it go away, and not come back, so i can work and also rebuild my knee. Father, please protect my back from further injury so I can once again sit. Thank you for your care.

Father, I thank you for these friends who pray for me, and that you have answered them. I praise you that my pain remains less than even 4 weeks ago. I thank you for the encouragement that I get from these PWs and from the lessening of pain. I pray for your wisdom and an end to my impatience so i don't re-injure myself. Father, let me wait for your timing and give me guidance as to what I should do, if anything, to deal with the residual pain. Father, the end of the day is hard. One more week of rest, then frank immersion at work with 9-11 hour days. I was so swollen after Thursday, Father. Help me in your mercy, if you will, Father. Help me to remember to take the breaks my PT recommends. Thank you that my colleagues have offered to help me with call after 8 pm, but Father, please help me carry my weight.
