ORIGINAL: Fritzpw_Admin Isaiah 54:10 (NIV) Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you. http://vref.me/isa54.10 Online Bible #DailyBible Quote this post and tell us what you think about the verse. I believe this verse is saying that God's love is more eternal than our mistakes. We should strive to avoid sin, but even when we fall His love has not changed.

Isaiah 54:10-'If you feel that God is going to break His covenant which He made with Abraham Isaiah would have you know that you are wrong. God will continually affirm regardless of mankind fickleness or disobedience His covenant will stand from His perspective.'(JVernon McGee) Remember, we can trust the Sovereign Jehovah of scripture thus responsible to it.

Romans 12:1-2 (NIV) Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. http://vref.me/ro12.1-2 Online Bible #DailyBible Quote this post and tell us what you think about the verse.

1 Peter 2:9 (NIV) But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. http://vref.me/1pe2.9 Online Bible #DailyBible Quote this post and tell us what you think about the verse. Imagine you are a firecracker instead of a candle. You have only a split second to "declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness". What would you praise Him for in that split second?

I see this verse as a challenging statement. It's a challenge to the Christian not to try to look like the world. "I called you out to be different." It not only gives us a sense of a separate identity, however. It also gives us a sense of belonging, not only to Him, but also to each other. And this is just me, but it makes it SO much better to realize that I'm not alone.quote:

A very excellent question. And from the point of view of eternity, we only have a split second to praise Him here. How are we utilizing it?

Is it an old chair at your grandparents house? How about the old tree where you grew up? The riverbed on the old farm? Where do you go to feel safe? There are no "old" places that make me feel safe, though I do enjoy a jog down memory lane on occasion. My secure fortress is my living room couch... it is where I escape from the world for a while and spend time in prayer and meditation.

1 John 3:2 (NIV) Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. http://vref.me/1jo3.2 Online Bible #DailyBible Quote this post and tell us what you think about the verse. When I read this verse I think of a butterfly that has no idea what it will be when it comes out of the cocoon. What does this verse bring to mind for you?

John 7:37-38 (NIV) On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him." http://vref.me/joh7.37-38 Online Bible #DailyBible Quote this post and tell us what you think about the verse. In what way has Jesus revealed Himself as the living water in your life?

In what way has Jesus revealed Himself as the living water in your life? When I think of this verse, my eyes focus on the phrase “streams of living water” and the concept that they will “flow from” the one that believes in Jesus. I believe this means that we are to be conduits for HIM to other people. God never gives blessings of any kind for us to simply hold on to them. God blesses us so we can bless others. We do this by sharing His love with them.

Trusting in riches is a surefire way to fail. It's a way to fail because riches are temporary. Even if we amass a huge fortune and keep it until we go to the grave, we cannot keep it beyond the grave. The righteousness of God will last forever. Because the righteousness of God will last forever, the righteous will last forever because they trust in His righteousness.
